It's about 3am here and we have an 8am flight from Madrid to JFK via Paris. Jane is sleeping right now and I'm up typing away on my computer as usual. We actually have to leave the hotel around 5am so I figured it's easier for me just to stay up since I'm the resident night owl.

The past week in Spain has been interesting. We've been to so many places (7 cities) and and seen an insane amount of things. Our best day included hitting up 4 attractions! We've walked everywhere it seems and got lost everywhere too. To say the least our map reading skills have probably gotten a little better. One highlight of our trip was the amazing gelato we had. We had the best gelato in Barcelona and I've officially become a gelato snob. Enjoy some photos from the rest of our trip. I'll be putting up the full albums hopefully in a couple of days. Adios!

I'm here in Barcelona right now and it's about 11pm here. I really should be in bed sleeping but it's my nature as a night owl to be up and doing something. I figured I would blog a little a share some photos of my day with you. It's not uber spectacular but considering this is our first day here we got to see quite a bit. Enjoy the photos!

Two posts in 1 day?! What is the world coming to?

In about 2 days I will be at JFK airport boarding a flight to Spain! My travel buddy this time is my lovely but slightly crazed (she's taking the Seven exam) Godsister Jane. I'm hoping she'll unwind during our flight over. She really needs some downtime...no no a lot of downtime.

Our Spain itinerary includes a stay in both Barcelona and Madrid with side trips to Toledo, Sitges, Avila and Segovia. It should be amusing to see how Jane and I will get by on our limited Spanish. She took Spanish in high school while I took French so I'm inclined to speak Spanish with a French accent. Pretty funny considering the only other language I speak fluently is Thai. We'll be gone for about 10 days and I'll be avoiding all freelance work emails but hope to get in a post or two if I can find a wireless connection.
