I'm a bit swamped right now with work, freelance and home renovations but I wanted to share these latest photos of my brand new room with you. New sparkly wood floor installed by Alexis' family!
Still laying down the new wood panels. I didn't know my floor was made of slanted planks. The house is old but it was built pretty well!

My house has been in construction phase ever since June. It took over 2 months to finish the bathroom then another couple of weeks to finish the walls of my room. Now we're tackling the floors. That's right instead of carpet we've decided to redo the wood floors. As I sit here typing away there is major floor renewing going on. You guys need to come over and see how new this place is going to look. It'll be like stepping into a new house. Too bad I'm kitty sitting for a week and half so I won't be able to move in just yet. Yeah I know...what a hard life!

I feel like I'm back in school on some level as I sit here studying between 2 major and different subjects. The only common thread they have is that once I past these 2 tests my life will change and become dramatically better. I will be able to fly and see Tammy on a whim and rent a car for my vacation in Hawaii. Soun laughed when I told him what I've been doing lately but he's happy I'm on my way.

My life has been taken over by this one insane account. Will nothing go right? I miss working on the other accounts. Boo hoo...
Freelance
Seems like my freelance life will pick up again but I think this time around I won't be so insane. I missed freelancing really. Even though I have a full time job I don't ever think I'll be able to shake my freelance mentality.

Stress
I'm so stressed out apparently that I think I'm losing weight. My work pants are hanging lower on my hips than usual. Will someone please force feed me a Big Mac and fries?

I just saw this and thought how true it is. So on both a professional and personal level I want to keep this in mind. Professionally at work I know we argue and discuss a lot and we go round and round and I'd like to come to a good conclusion that's good for the client. I don't want to be right...well that's not 100% true either but I certainly want them to be the best solution for the client. Know what I mean? Besides it's good to question why one of us thinks something should work that way because then it becomes a matter of best practice and not personal preference.

Yup you read correctly they're having a girl! I see pink everywhere!!! I'm so excited they're having a girl! So many boys have been born in the past year that it's refreshing that someone is finally having a girl. So they're halfway there. Can you believe she's 4.5 months? I know...crazy right? Well congrats!!! I'm here if you need any help!
