Sorry I was banning you! =P

I finally send out my invoice to the client as a PDF.
It gets forwarded to the people in charge of paying me.
They write me back asking if I could fax or snail mail it over.
WTF? You can't open a PDF? Dude, that's just weak.
Oh the words that come out when I'm typing too fast. See entry Gray Matters for relevant picture.
T0m: she's pretty...but i can't believe you took a picture of her ass
P3nny: what?!
P3nny: ass is so good!
P3nny: that didn't come out right
T0m: hahaha
As you know I broke my coffee machine last week. Although I don't make that much coffee knowing I have it makes the coffee addicted side of me feel better.
How did I break my coffee machine you ask? Well my old machine had a dial and you had to turn it to set the time, set the timer and turn on the machine. I somehow managed to turn the knob and break the mechanism that makes the whole damn thing work. So this time around I got a machine where I have to push all my actions. I figure it's like using a computer so there's less chance of me breaking it. Overall I think it's a much better machine than my last one. Picture below. Isn't it pretty? Thanks for coming to Bed, Bath & Beyond with me Nida! We're so damn productive aren't we?
Heather Graham and Molly Shannon film scenes in Union Square's Green Market for their upcoming movie "Gray Matters". As you can see it was a slow day in the office while we hung out during the various takes. I LOVE the area I work in!

Heather Grahams got a kick ass booty!

Molly Shannon checks us out.
DM: Something really bad happened today.
PS: *alarmed* What, what happened?
DM: I think I broke the tripod.
PS: *sigh of relief* It's ok. There are worse things of mine that you could break. The tripod is replaceable.
I think this week, the whole week has been the toughest I've had in a long time. It started Sunday with my trip out to Woodbury/Binghamton with Jane and Nesa. Not blaming them but it was a long day of shopping and sitting in a car. Bing ain't close people! Mind you I spent most of my Saturday updating websites.
Monday I ran over to Diaka's work to say hello and pick up some stuff then home to do laundry. At midnight I was asked to go out and bring over a much needed radio for a Tuesday photoshoot.
Tuesday I went to SEA for dinner and then the Agora performance at McCarren Pool. When I finally got home I was up converting code for a website until about 2 or 3 am.
Wednesday was bad. I had a meeting up in Wh1te Plain5 at the client only to be told, not asked but TOLD to come in the next day at 9am for what would be a full day of work! WTF? Who do you think you are? First of all I don't do 9am. I don't think I've ever been so upset over work in my life. And the imbalance in hormones I'm pretty sure didn't help. I went home to finish the website conversion and sent out an email to try and finalize the project so I could stop workng on it! I went to sleep at 1am. Yeah...I know. I forgot to mention I also broke my coffee machine so I no longer have a working electric coffee machine and had to make my coffee with a French press.
Thursday I took a car service to go up to the client by 11am (yes, I'm aware - hard life). I stayed there, indoors doing work back to back (literally) with the UI girl there. I finally decided that there was no way I was going to just stay there like I don't have other things to do and left at 5:15pm to catch the express train down to the city. I met up with Cindy and she was by far the highlight of my day. Thank you Cindy!
Friday started out pretty ok. I decided to lay low. I called my various clients to see if any of them needed my help and none of them were by their phone. I'm not sure what I did all day but we went out to lunch and bam! My week is now officially crap! I order a Philly Cheese Steak and they forgot my cheese! Thankfully my coworkers had a little tub of cheese they let me pour over my sandwich. Thanks guys! Seriously though when I opened my sandwich and saw there wasn't cheese in there I wanted to cry. Again...hormone imbalance. I couldn't even get my lunch order the way I wanted it!!! Who does a girl have to sleep with to get her lunch order correct?
So that's been my week. A lot of work, lack of sleep and nothing went right. I'm laying low this weekend since it seems like a pretty damn good idea.
I went to see Agora this past Tuesday with K & Q. I'm too tired to do a write up but K did a great one. Please click here to read hers. Here are some photos though...

After the show.

Not my best pose but here I am in the middle of the pool.
It's not the greatest photo but here's Danie1 skateboarding in Central Park.

I'm a little early to wish her a Happy Birthday (it's 10 days from now) but her gift already arrived so what the hell!
Happy Birthday Jane! May this year be an especially good one!
Nesa and I got our lovely sister Jane a white 4GB iPod nano with "Songs for Jane" engraved on it. For those of you who don't know it's a spin off from Maroon 5's album titled "Songs About Jane". Needless to say Jane LOVES her new iPod and Nesa and I did an awesome tag team effort in getting it for her. I hope you enjoy your new toy Jane! By the way this means I'm too broke to get you a Christmas present. =P
It's only the middle of the week and I'm ready to die. I spent half of my weekend relaxing knowing that the other half would be spent coding. But I spent most of Sunday and Monday dealing with drama that could have been avoided. The internet truly sucks sometimes.
Now I have all this client work ahead of me. Did I mention these clients suck? Good gawd become more web savvy please!
On a totally different note I finally finished my first book of checks and it only took a year.
Been thinking about Hawaii a lot. I'm looking forward to going and finally taking a real vacation. My nephew will be about 1 and half by then. He's just the cutest little white boy we have in the family!
I'm going to bed...you're right I should take it easy and rest.
I hate feeling this way.
I hate feeling insecure.
It's not often this feeling washes over me like this.
Make it go away. You can make it go away.
Why won't you make it go away?!
Insecurity fucking sucks!
PS: Yum...Pocky
DM: What's Pocky?
PS: You don't know what Pocky is?
DM: It sounds familiar. I think I do. *silence* Yes, I do know what it is.
PS: I was about to say you can't go around dating Asian girls and not know what Pocky is. Doesn't matter what country she's from, Pocky is universal in every Asian country.
DM: *laughs*
I want one of these to go please! What's that? I'll have it Tuesday the latest? Awesome!

*My friend who works at Apple said you won't realize how cool it is until you hold it in your very own hands!
They both amazingly managed to IM me at almost the same time to different SNs. This was one of those IMs better experienced live but just try to imagine 2 people only 10 feet away from each other IMing me to ask the same question. I couldn't help but crack up out loud in front of my whole family.
JM: hey penny--how's the move going?
PS: i'm done for now, my Dad took down my wall though
JM: wow. i have a favor to ask.... any chance you can watch my the kitties?
PS: sure no problem! i'm already displaced
MM: hey, quick ?
PS: lol, hello
MM: you around next weekend?
PS: are u and JM in different places?
MM: no, she's 10 feet from me, hahahahha
PS: what's up?
MM: just wanted to see if you could watch kitties, but i think she asked
PS: are u both asking me the same thing and in the same font and color too! i thought u were playing a trick on me
MM: nope, we're not that clever

Apparently it's Lolita's 50th Anniversary and the cover looks like a cheap imitation of my book design sophomore year in SVA. I'm sorry but this is one of those times where I think my design fucking rocks!
Some fabulous photos from my trip to LA in June. Hey, stop laughing!

The famous Ollywood sign.

Hollywood High School

Old school McDonalds

The Janet Jewelry table at the LA Fashion CO-OP. That's my very pretty hand you see showing off a ring!
So it's official. My brother is better than me. I've always known this though. He passed his road test today and will be receiving his brand new shiny license in the mail in a couple of weeks. The downside is because he's 17 he can't drive without a licensed driver sitting there. I was going to have Narin teach me to drive but he turns 18 rather late and I'd like to get my own license before then. We're getting ready for our Hawaii trip!
My bathroom is nearly done. It's missing the cabinet (which is getting installed today), the fixtures and window. Hopefully by next weekend it'll be done so I can move all the bathroom shit back in. I did however use my super duper shopping sense to buy this oh so cool radio for the bathroom with the help of my Sony connection (you da best man).

Now that the bathroom is nearly done we have yet another wonderful project in my house. My father is going to redo my bedroom. When they knocked down the wall of the bathroom they also managed to put some cracks and holes in my pretty pink wall. I had to move my 3 bookshelves out so that they could fix the wall and then we decided why don't we just redo the whole damn room! So I'll be spending this weekend moving out of my room into the room next door. Fun right?! Since I'm practically getting a new room I've decided to trash the old bookshelves and buy new ones along with a new desk. So that real vacation I was so looking forward to taking with Jane has been cancelled due to future lack of funds. Good thing Jane is poor too because otherwise I would feel really really bad. I'm now going to use my vacation time to move back into my room properly.
One more thing. I'm going to be busy all weekend either moving or doing freelance work. With that said don't fucking waste my time with inane questions and silly requests!!! And if you don't know what inane means I highly suggest you look it up and commit it to your lousy vocabulary.

Oh c'mon...you think this is funny too!
